Counselling and Psychotherapy
Many problems that occur in the present can be linked to past experiences, which then influence our current patterns of behavior. Even though we would like to change, we often feel powerless and trapped and unable to do so. It is by seeing these patterns through counselling and developing an understanding of how they have developed and how they impact us in the present enables us a greater freedom and choice to live our lives.
Dynamic Interpersonal Therapy (DIT)
DIT therapy is a brief, time-limited psychotherapy that focuses on how current relationship problems are linked to past experiences and feelings. It helps people identify and change unhealthy relationship patterns to improve emotional well-being, and it is typically delivered over 16 weekly 50-minute sessions. The therapy is specifically developed for treating depression, but can also be helpful for anxiety and other emotional difficulties.
